Overview

The Langtang Valley Trek is a beautiful short-to-moderate trek that takes you deep into the Langtang region, only a day’s drive from Kathmandu. Often called the “Valley of Glaciers,” Langtang offers spectacular views of snow-capped peaks such as Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, and Ganesh Himal. The trail passes through lush forests, rhododendron valleys, high alpine meadows, and traditional Tamang villages influenced by Tibetan culture. The highlight of the trek is reaching Kyanjin Gompa, a spiritual and cultural center surrounded by dramatic Himalayan scenery, with options to hike further to Kyanjin Ri (4,350m) or Tserko Ri (4,984m) for panoramic views. This trek is perfect for those who want a rewarding Himalayan experience within 7–10 days.
