  • Insulating mid-layers (fleece or lightweight down jacket)

  • Waterproof and windproof outer shell (jacket and pants)

  • Heavy down jacket for summit or cold nights

  • Warm gloves, inner gloves, beanie, balaclava, and neck gaiter

  • Wool or thermal socks + trekking socks

Footwear:

 

  • Sturdy, waterproof trekking boots (insulated for cold)

  • Gaiters for snow or mud

  • Camp shoes or sandals for tea houses

Trekking Equipment:

 

  • Backpack (30–50L for day use) + duffel bag for porters

  • Sleeping bag rated for -10°C to -15°C

  • Trekking poles

  • Headlamp with extra batteries

 

Personal Items & Essentials:

 

  • Sunglasses with strong UV protection

  • Sunscreen and lip balm (SPF 50+)

  • Water bottles or hydration system

  • Water purification tablets or filter

  • Personal first-aid kit (including altitude sickness medication)
