Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Free time for rest or short walks, followed by a trek briefing in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Kathmandu Sightseeing & Trek Preparation

Visit major cultural landmarks such as Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Final gear checks and trek preparation. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860m) & Trek to Phakding (2,610m)

Fly to Lukla and begin trekking along the Dudh Koshi River, passing small villages and suspension bridges to reach Phakding. Overnight in a teahouse.

Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

Enter Sagarmatha National Park and follow forested trails to Namche Bazaar, the main trading center of the Khumbu region. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Acclimatization hike to Everest View Hotel or nearby villages, with time to explore Namche Bazaar. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Namche Bazaar to Dole (4,110m)

Leave the main Everest trail and head toward the quieter Gokyo Valley. Trek through forests and yak pastures to reach Dole. Overnight in a teahouse.

Dole to Machhermo (4,470m)

Gradual ascent through alpine terrain with increasing mountain views, reaching the small settlement of Machhermo. Overnight in Machhermo.

Machhermo to Gokyo (4,790m)

Trek alongside glacial streams to reach the beautiful Gokyo Valley and its turquoise lakes. Overnight in Gokyo village near Gokyo Lake.

Gokyo Ri Hike (5,357m) & Acclimatization

Early morning hike to Gokyo Ri for panoramic views of Everest, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and the Ngozumpa Glacier. Rest and acclimatization in the afternoon. Overnight in Gokyo.

Cross the Ngozumpa Glacier and trek to Thagnak, preparing for the Cho-La Pass crossing. Overnight in Thagnak.

A challenging day crossing the Cho-La Pass, involving steep ascents and glacial terrain. Descend to Dzongla for overnight stay.

Rejoin the main Everest Base Camp trail and trek to Lobuche with views of surrounding peaks. Overnight in Lobuche.
